Cari Hotel di Cumbria

"Great property for 3 people. It was well equipped very clean . Location perfect for Hawkeshead for all amenities. Will definitely return."

"We stayed for 1 night at the end of September for a birthday. The hotel was stunning. The spa was bliss. We had a room with a hot tub and it was perfect. The hotel was quiet at night and other guests were respectful. The food and drinks were good, a bit on the pricier side. I would definitely stay again."

"Lodge was great with a really lovely view and very comfy beds. Kitchen looked a bit tired with chipped worktops and it would be useful to have some drawers in the built in wardrobe areas for smaller items that don't need hanging. restaurant had good selection and food was good. Pool area, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were good."

"Had an amazing stay here! Brilliant room and lovely club amenities with free cake and coffee and incredible breakfast! Only the inside pool is included so you have to pay £60 for 2 hours in the evening to use the whole spa. I feel like one spa session should be included when paying for club level."

"Superb hotel right on the lake and right next to the boat trip and the steam train . Very relaxing , rooms ate lovely clean , great views over the lake ."

"ideal location, friendly staff, clean room."

"The barman Moses was very pleasant, attentive and helpful. Our room was a different matter, when choosing our room from scanning the pictures, on your website we chose a cosy garden lake view room, but, the room we were allocated on arrival appeared to reflect a double room, The issues that we had with the room are as follows: The toilet brush was dirty and the stainless steel container was rusty and in a very sub standard condition. There was also a water leak which appeared to be coming from...

"The food in the restaurant was first class and the staff were friendly and always helpful"

"We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok."

"I’m very disappointed because this property is simply not accurately advertised. The accommodation itself is nice, but several of the facilities that influenced my decision to book DO NOT EXIST as advertised. Expedia clearly lists a restaurant, bar/lounge and full-service spa, including massage, and shows spa/sauna facilities. In reality, there is NO restaurant, NO bar and NO full-service spa. Breakfast can be pre-ordered and delivered to your room, but that is not a restaurant. A minibar in...

"The hotel has a car park, however you its a extra cost per night. Its advertised as having amenities such as a gym and spa. This is also at an extra charge. We wanted a dog friendly hotel, this was the most disappointing aspect. It felt like a after thought, the room was tiny and and a annex part of the hotel on the ground floor."

"Staff were great but there were very clear signs of wear and tear which for the price was poor. Outside seating area was very worn and tired. Black mould in the corner of the room. Threadbare bath mat. For £800+/night the upkeep of the room should have been a lot better."

"Substandard food. Unwillingness to listen to feedback. Over inflated prices"

"We had cabin 1 and it was great. Hot tub, wood, everything was lovely and well thought out. Everything you need was there"
