"First impression of the hotel at check-in was exceptional- Stephen was very welcoming and friendly, and we knew it was going to be an incredible stay! In fact, encounters with the staff from bartender, restaurant and housekeeping were all friendly, engaging, and positive. "All the staff were extremely helpful, the hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished and the rooms were lovely. Only a five minute walk into town and some lovely restaurants and bars. Throughly recommend whether you want to relax in Keswick or walk the surrounding hills. The boat trip was lovely and very reasonable, gave access to some pretty spots including the walk Cat Bells."

"Easy self check in. The room was very spacious with full bathroom and toiletries. Also had a hairdryer. The breakfast was excellent 👌 with plenty of choice which you ordered the night before. Staff were helpful and restocked the breakfast table with fruit, juice and yoghurt. I loved the fact that there were mugs on the tables, depicting the Wainwrights! Nice touch. Parking was a bit tight if you returned late, but for one night, it was fine. Would definitely stay again!"

"We stayed at the Horse and Farrier the night before our hike up Scafell Pike, it's only a 25 minute drive to Seathwaite Parking, if you're going up the corridor route. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. the food was lovely and the room we stayed in was clean, well presented and comfy. Definitely recommend eating nd staying here!"
