"I stayed for two nights (Friday & Saturday) at Craglands Guest House in June 2026. The host, Eldon, was very friendly, helpful and hospitable. The rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are perfect for a pair of weary trekker legs at the end of the day. The guesthouse is a stone’s throw (4 min walk) from a pub which was great for the football. Keswick town was around 15/20 mins walk or an easy 5 min drive - perfect location for any stay you’d like to plan in the area. I would definitely...

"We stayed only 1 overnight on the way down from scotland. We could see lot of people staying for visiting the lakes. The hotel is in a very nice location. They are also pet friendly and they provided us a towel and a bowl for the dog. We highly recommend both breakfast and set menù dinner which was very nice. Room was clean and bathroom looked recently renewed."

"The staff were great - friendly and welcoming. The room was on the small side but we were only there for one night, and it was clean and comfortable (and the view of the hills was lovely). There was a large fan provided, which was very welcome given the heatwave that was taking place that week, We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. "Just visited the Marymount hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I must say the food is first class. The hotel itself is in a magical position on the shore of Derwentwater. You can visit Keswick on the bus from outside the hotel or use the boat from the near jetty. Hopefully will be back soon."
