"Alagoa is a lovely resort. Family friendly and also relaxing for a solo trip. For India this resort has good cleanliness & I would certainly recommend. It’s a 5 minute walk from the beach which is a beautiful spot to relax in. Down side is the taxis are expensive and will do all they can to rip you off. Be prepared for a haggle war! Everything else is wonderful! "

"We had a fantastic time here. The rooms are excellent, comfortable beds with good showers. Beds are cleaned daily which was a nice surprise, cleanliness was a big plus point of this hotel. There are 2 pools guests can use and are close to the bar/restaurant which has well priced drinks and great barmen/waiters. In fact, all staff are extremely helpful and polite. "Overall an excellent stay at the Dona Sylvia resort, nestled in lush gardens with good facilities. Location is excellent with direct access to the beach, and a wide variety of restaurants and beach shacks in the vicinity. "The resort was so well maintained, safe and beautiful. The staff were very patient, helpful and polite, and did look after us, especially our 8 month old daughter Leela , very well. Airport shuttle was easy to find, and very comfortable. Bar was excellent. Miri and its staff were brilliant, especially Abhishek, Gaurav, Sumit, Yash, Chef Asif, Rebek, Akhum, Miriam. thank you to Shahbaz and Gajanan, and special mention to the room attendants, Sunil and the team.
