"After staying here for 5 days, I am very confused about some of the low/poor reviews. People seem to expect 5* hotel experiences on a hostel budget... Considering this is a hostel and the very low price, I am impressed - FAR better than I expected for such a low cost. Every hostel and dorm-share will have small issues regarding other guest behaviour and bathroom cleanliness but the staff here do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. "The room I was in was clean & I love that there were some nights where there was free dinners. The free dinners were the best part. Also, having towels that were decently priced and not overly expensive was a huge plus. You'll need to bring your own soap and washcloth though. 8/10 for me."

"The room was clean as well as the linens. The mattress was kind of cheap, maybe 3 inches thick. You could sleep but it was somewhat uncomfortable. Reminded me of the cots when I was a counselor at a summer camp. There was cracks in the brick walls, the rooms had some spackal but wasn't painted. Bathrooms with showers were always flooded with water so there must had been leaks from the shower. I loved the staff. There were very kind and helped me get around the city. Good food!!"
