"Our arrival was good it looked like they we're in the process of fixing up the property the greeting was good but when we checked out the next morning a young man took our room key and and went to inspect our room before we could check out i was not aware what he was doing ,this has never happened before at any where i have stayed before i was not happy about this i think better communication would of helped"

"Loved going to the swimming pool, not too many people in there. Liked having a drink in the bar - it's very convenient. Breakfast was very good, even though not much variety."

"The staff was all very nice but the property itself was very old and had not been very well maintained for quite some time. The facility itself, inside and out needs a complete renovation. Tub didn't drain properly and looked like it had been scratched up very badly and was peeling. Door handles were falling off, smelled like smoke and marijuana in the halls, Everything in the gym was broken and dirty. there were long hairs in my bed. There were homeless people and drug addicts in the parking...

"Our hotel room was clean, quiet and very spacious. We loved the huge bathroom with the jetted tub. However, the sofa mattress was old and thin and not as comfortable for my 17 year old to sleep on for 3 nights. My only suggestion for improvement is to replace or upgrade to a newer and more comfortable sofa mattress. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay at this hotel."

"Stayed 3 days, first room they gave me, the toilet seat was broken, friendly staff, changed my room right away, room was ok but during my stay the bed wasnt made once, garbage wasn't emptied and no new towels, I really dont think they know I was in that room lol."

"The Carriage House is my go to hotel whenever I visit Calgary. My family frequently books events there. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and we enjoy the breakfast buffet. After a little glitch between the price confirmed with Expedia, and the arrival price, the mgr found the issue(a new tax added after I made my reservation), the amt was subtracted and I was given a $40 voucher for food/beverage, unexpected and appreciated. The only downside is that there are no safes in the standard...

"My bathroom sink wouldn’t drain at all and started leaking all over the floor. My room was HOT. All vending machines were out of order - but the front desk clerk was amazing and got me some muffins. Considering how much I paid for the room I at minimum expected snacks for purchase and a working sink."
