Lady owner communicates in English if struggling to speak in French. Rooms presented to be very nice and clean, while beds very comfortable. "There are several cafes very near the property, and public pay parking is just around the corner, about 5-10 min walk. The hotel has a nice petite déjeuner for breakfast. You can walk fairly easily from the train station, about 30-45 min walk downhill, but I would take a taxi back, when leaving, although it can be done. The hotel is in a nice area."
