"Good value, very convenient for the Severn Valley Railway and the town. Staff (based in the restaurant below) were lovely - and the restaurant below was excellent. Parking would be convenient in the railway's car park opposite, but the machine is troublesome and the app didn't work for me - useful to know there's a second machine up near the station building."

"The Golden Lion was absolutely wonderful and we will stay here again the next time I come to Bridgnorth to visit my musician friends. The room was surprisingly large and bathroom up to date for the historical age of the building. It was very relaxed, they served a lovely traditional UK breakfast and accommodated my gluten free needs as well as flexibility on our check in time due to a rehearsal I had to get to. The town of Bridgnorth is beautiful and the Golden Lion was right in the heart of high town with easy access and short walks to great restaurants, pubs, etc. "
