"Room not that clean. Bathroom fan didn't work. Some mold on bathroom. Smoke alarm went off early in AM. False alarm. Overall property in disrepair. Staff disinterested. First time staying at a Premier Inn and probably my last. "

Great location, upgraded rooms were good, lovely bar and outdoor terrace and we enjoyed an hour in the spa (N.B. not obvious when I booked the hotel but this is £10 extra per person for an hour and must be booked). Breakfast was good, only minor issue were the undercooked boiled eggs but there was plenty of other choice."

"Scarlett assisted me with check-in and showed me to my room. She was friendly, helpful, and efficient, making for a great first impression. I stayed in a Deluxe Double, which was a good size and featured a lovely, well-laid-out bathroom. The thoughtful extras in the room, such as the fans (even though the room has air conditioning) and the clothes steamer, were very much appreciated. "My only complaint is that I was on the ground floor and the floors above head really creaky floor boards, so I was frequently woken up but those above me moving around."

"Friendly welcome. Characterful room with good quality tea tray. Great breakfast. Unfortunately the room was not overly clean and the bathroom in particular was tired, run down and felt grubby. Black and dirty sealant around the outside of shower. Broken tiles on floor, broken loo roll holder, grubby and badly marked walls and thick dust/grime on skirting. With a deep clean and a little maintenance this could be a great place to stay."

"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."
