Yes there is a Kwik Star right across the street and a Shell Gas Station down on the corner. Room was cozy and comfortable. I would stay there again and soon!!

I called the property to see if they had a room on the main level as I'm in a wheelchair and unable to do stairs. The person who stated that they were infact in the Davenport hotel said that they had 1 room left on the main floor. We arrived at the hotel less than 30 minutes later and booked a room through Expedia. I go inside and had to call for the attendant to come to the front desk--it was 10 pm and we were exhausted. The guy asked me what I wanted and I said I had a reservation. He said that there was nothing on the main floor and I told him that I talked to someone from the hotel less than 30 minutes ago and was told that there was a room. He said "I don't know who you talked to but they don't know nothing " so I asked if I could get refunded and he never answered me. And NOT ONCE did he look at me. He looked at the floor or anywhere else. I will not be staying at this place ever again!!

I arrived at 10:45 PM with a confirmed reservation. The person at the front desk was counting coins and, when I greeted him and mentioned my reservation, he interrupted me and indicated (with gestures) that I had to wait until 11:00 PM. I waited and returned at 11:05 PM. He assisted me reluctantly, shaking his head and murmuring. After going to my room, I realized the key hadn’t been activated. I had to go back to the front desk, and again, with a poor attitude, he fixed it. The room itself was fine, but the customer service was very disappointing and unprofessional.

Plenty of shopping options in the area. But that’s where the good part ends. We found three cockroaches in our room and we’re given the wrong room. I do not recommend

I would not have stayed but it was late at night. Non secure doors, people climbing out of windows, I don’t think the room had been cleaned. I slept wrapped in my own blanket with my phone ready to dial 911

The whole place reaked of cigarette smoke. I did not finish my whole booking cuz I could not stand to be there anymore. I feel like this smell got stuck in my nostrils and was smelling it all day. I would never go back. Try to get refunded for the day I did not stay but no luck yet. Do not book its not worth the helth risk.

Cockroaches in lobby and bathroom. I understand it is smoking friendly but the entire place smelled strongly of cigarettes starting in the lobby. Also, for some reason they had down my reservation was “canceled” a few hours after I booked. When they figured out the miscommunication, they did not charge me again; but the room type I wanted was all booked so we had to settle for a single bed room when I paid for two beds.

The property was okay. It was nothing fancy, which is fine. The front desk clerk was quite nice and polite. Unfortunately, the property had sprayed for bugs a couple of weeks prior and there was a small roach that I found and killed in the room. I told the front desk about this. There was something red splattered across the bottom of the door in the room which I also notified the front desk about as it may have been paint or blood.

Was told there would be a refrigerator and microwave but when I got into the room there was neither the TV did not work. The hottub that I paid extra for did not work. I was in a non smoking room but the entire room smelled of cigarette smoke. Did not like that the front desk person said my room number out loud in a lobby full of people.

The staff was amazing which made up for the gross hotel. The whole place was damp. There were bugs in my room and on my bed and my bathroom. But at least they allow your pets with no hassle.

This place is a drug infested hotel they do not even do housekeeping we lifted up the sheets on our bed and I could not believe the significant stains and just grossness of the mattress itself The room was tore down and hadn't been cleaned at all The bathroom sink had throw up in it and stains there was dried hair around the toilet from another person the bathtub had significant dirt rings around it the mirror had spit on it I am ashamed very ashamed that I stayed there do not go to this place for a good night sleep or anything

The room we had, had no refrigerator and no microwave, and roaches. Had no problems with staff or anything but when you stay more than one night you would expect refrigerator and microwave. The roaches i dont know what to say about that except ewww.
