"Very good overall. . Like a lot of hotels, the food is good but overpriced. The location and view of the river from some rooms is fabulous. Staff are friendly and try their best for you. Unfortunately I booked last minute in order to get a peaceful night’s sleep and the fire alarm woke the whole hotel at 3am. Great that it worked, but there was no fire! "Beautiful place and right in the city centre, so great for movement around. Hotel itself quite neat and they made efforts to give us early check in. They also offered to keep our luggage until our next visit."

"Really loved staying at this hotel. We were given a room in a bungalow on the grounds which was very private and quite looking onto a garden, I really loved the fact that it had its own private kitchen and the staff were very helpful in providing things that ran out. Would definately stay there again."

"Staff very friendly and efficient. Sink was blocked, soap dispenser in shower was empty. No kettle in the room and although there was free drinking water and free hot drinks that was all the way down in reception. I knew I was opting for a stripped down version of a hotel room but have stayed in lots of other hotels that offer more for the same price. "

"The first room we were given stunk of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom. Odd as the room had been cleaned. The reception staff immediately gave us a better room. I also found it a little weird that the hallways were so dim (?). The wall sconces were on but didn’t throw much light. "

"I have stayed here before but always had a room overlooking the car park. This time I was on the other side and unfortunately the constant road noise did not make for a good nights sleep. The telly was also not working in the room but by the time I noticed I was already ready for bed so left it until the morning to let staff know."
