"Paid for an ocean view and ended up looking at the air conditioners. My wife stated that she noticed stains on the bed coverings but which she called ans was not addressed. I was charged $40 per day for 2 cars, which was excessive on top of that had to wait 20-30 minutes to get our cars. Paid $40 for overly cook small piece of salmon with 2 pieces of baby corn. When speaking with front desk manager was not helpful and really not seemed to be uninterested in addressing concerns. "

"We loved our stay at Max Beach Resort. The view from every room was beautiful. The living room patio doors open all the way up making it fee like outdoor living. Parking was very easy. The location of the elevators in the building makes it a really quick trip from the room to everything from the beach to the rooftop terrace which was key for our trip with small children. Staff was lovely and helped immediately if we needed any assistance. The only con was that the kitchen could use more items...

Dirty rooms food smashed all over the floor, leaking faucets, rusted safe and rust all on the floor tiny ants all over the bathroom dirty room filthy complained one time that manager laughed everything off because she was taking a trip and didn’t want to be bothered the last night a roach ran across the floor under the bed while I was sitting on the bed. "Very clean,staff was very friendly,nice and helpful especially pricsilla in front desk who always helping me. Beach view was great just one problem we didn’t enjoy the balcony for 4 days that we stayed coz it smells marijuana and smoke from cigarettes we don’t smoke and we have a child too. We paid extra for balcony(beach view)that we didn’t enjoyed! But over all very good hotel i still gave 5 star! "

"Not everyone will live this place. It’s not the biggest and best but it is cozy and convenient. If you are a simple laid back person who can appreciate a nice comfy bed, book it. I loved the beds, the staff, free parking, little diner-like restaurant with Asian heavy menu, rooftop bar & close enuf to the Bandshell which was our daily destination for NCA NDA. "The motel room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We let the AC run the entire stay to keep the humidity down & we didn’t see any bugs. "

"My wife and I loved our stay here. Other than it being a bit outdated, and some uncleaned areas (hair on walls, ceilings, and trash under bed, etc.) and maintenance issues, we will love to come back and keep this place in our rotation."

"The staff was mean, had an attitude and would not even look at you. Check in was at 4 and did not get a room till 6:30. Staff did not apologize or offer any accommodations since I paid for a full night but technically did not get a full night. No entry from pool to beach. You have to walk around the building and walk in by car beach entrance. Great view from room facing beach."

"Extremely outdated and dirty. Pull out sofa mattress had yellow stains all over and my son potentially got bed bugs. You could feel dirt or maybe beach sand on the floor so we wore our shoes consistently. It has potential but needs to be fully renovated and maintained a whole lot better. The view would’ve been incredible if they weren’t having a torrential downpour. "
