"This hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. A couple points to note. The security latch on my door was missing. It was evident that this door had been kicked in at some point, and I was not able to secure my door to the point of feeling completely safe. All of the hotel ice machines were broken. I was able to get ice from a staff member who retrieved it from the kitchen. As I said the room was clean, the sheets fresh and the room smelled fresh. The bath towels are old and should be replaced. Television, coffee pot, shower, sinks all worked well - no problems with the room other than the door lock. But when you look at the price for this hotel in the Auburn Indiana area this is a good option for the price."

"The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but the property itself needs better cleaning and maintenance. Our towels had holes in them, the bathroom had a very strong weed odor, the hallways smelled like cigarettes, and the fitness room was messy and had an unpleasant smell."

"Worst stay I’ve had in years! Room keys didn’t work. There was no blanket. The ventilation was poor. There was no water pressure. The room was decorated poorly and had no ambience. The bed was uncomfortable. It was just one of the worst days I’ve had in many many years and I travel a lot. I will never go to another Tru hotel, and I will seriously doubt that I will go to a Hilton as well"

"The property was very clean and well-maintained. The room was spacious, neat, and comfortable, and overall everything was in good condition. I had a pleasant stay. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide an iron in every room, regardless of the room type (suite or standard), as it is a basic necessity for travelers. Also, there was no shampoo available in the bathroom initially. However, the staff was extremely helpful, polite, and friendly. When I requested these items, they promptly provided everything, including an iron. Their quick response and positive attitude really made a difference. Overall, a good experience with excellent staff service."

"Rooms could have been cleaner , the tub has black rings from old rubber mats and looks dirty. This could be cleaned up . The AC unit had the dirtiest filters I have ever seen being in the field for 27 years. I cleaned them before I turned it on . Highly recommend. And I cleaned the floor with bleach wipes . "

"I have been renting 2 rooms here every week for employees. They are charging $6/night if a room is rented from a third party such as Expedia. We will no longer use this establishment. I use Expedia to get our rooms at a discount- if I’m charged $24/room/week it defeats the purpose. "

"The hotel was nice, it appeared some construction was going on so some early morning hammering and construction trailers taking up parking so I had to park across the street in a vacant lot. Not the most convenient but not a huge deal."
