This resort has so many great things about it. It’s not cheap so they really need to step up. The property itself is beautiful. The cottage is so charming and cute, I could not say this enough, the location of it the feel of it, the porch everything. However it is not kept up and not clean very stained furniture dirty refrigerator, dirty sink. Everything really needed to be cleaned. The pool is a bit disgraceful to be honest, although it’s very nice to be able to jump in the pool. The chairs are all torn and sagging to say the least definitely wouldn’t take much to upgrade the furniture. Or at least just to have chairs that don’t have holes all over them, you can’t even sit down. One restaurant served the exact same drinks at the exact same time for half the price. The food at the Salon was terrible. There were three of us and none of us were able to finish our food. However we did later go up to the Inn. The sister property and the food was amazing. All in all we had an amazing visit the location has so much to offer. I will definitely recommend this place and be back, but I would ask that they do a thorough cleaning on my room next time

Very clean room, even with wish+dryer machine to do your own laundry. I also got a complimentary upgrade from a king bed room to a suite/cottage. Plus the location is super convenient. It’s a great choice especially considering that the Death Valley is huge. So it definitely saved me lots of time.

We decided stay at The Ranch because it was a bit more affordable and looked beautiful. We stayed in the cottages - HIGHLY recommend this! THE COTTAGES: They are so cute. It looks like you're in a quaint little neighborhood lined with palm trees. They are connected by 2's, so noise may be an issue depending on the next door guest. We didn't have problems but we could hear doors opening and closing and chatter. It is REALLY convenient to have a washer/dryer combo, but it was a little tricky to use. Right before we left, we set our clothes on another dry session. They actually ended up getting washed again and then dried - so they were wet when we got them out. So, asking for help on how to operate would be a good call! THE FOOD: Make sure you bring snacks, drinks, extra things before you enter the park. Stop in one of the surrounding cities if you have a cooler. Food is very basic, limited, and expensive. Understandably so, but just something to be aware of. Everybody was super nice, things were clean, and we will definitely stay here again!

This resort is so nice! It is truly an oasis in the desert. There are lots of palm trees and other types of trees and bushes. There is a beautiful fountain in the “town square” and a wonderful pool with constantly changing fresh, warm water from a thermal stream. There are beautiful trails to walk on, horses to ride(!), golf to play, and many other amenities. We liked our room, the restaurants, the ice cream parlor and the shops! One of the restaurants looks like a western saloon! We really enjoyed our stay here. :)

The rooms were not what you would expect for a "resort". Upon entering the room there was a strong smell of toilet bowel cleaner that was present the entire stay. The furniture was subpar and outdated. The sheets were clean but the bed was severely worn in you could see the indent on one end. Death Valley is the hottest place in the US and AC doesn't go lower than 68 degrees and shuts off during the night very often. I can't say I will stay here again in the future. Oh and the rent-a-cop-security could learn some manners by speaking to their guest by greeting them politely before ripping into them about going the wrong way in their confusing one way areas that are poorly labeled even staff say they have issues often.

Very nice experience. We stayed in one the cabanas so we had a very cute porch to sit on at night which added to the experience. The hotel grounds were amazing with a little western town atmosphere. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurants on the property. Great meals and at a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place is great for a few nights to stop while traveling. It felt like a cute little resort. i wouldn’t recommend parking your RV there though because if you plan on sleeping inside, there is no plug in and the bathrooms are far to walk from in the dark. The one male staff was a bit rude as well and he didn’t make me feel welcomed. Other than that, it was great!

Beautiful resort, location is awesome. Staying inside the park made it so convenient. We had a situation at the Saloon, our meal slip was lost in the kitchen and we waited over 2 hours for our food. The staff comped our entire meal for the inconvenience-it was delicious once it arrived! That was our only complaint.

Large property and services campers and mostly families. Convenient to many Death Valley sites. Stars three nights. Two nights would have been sufficient but one day allowed for reset and next stop. Beautiful national park, area seemed safe. The adjacent in. Is double the price but worth a decent cocktail and change of scenery. Traveled in April and conditions were perfect.
