"The pictures that advertise is very misleading it’s a 10 minute walk through sketchy neighborhoods especially at night time the pool is small and cluttered with floaties Staff was rude acting like they were doing you a favor just to stay over all I believe it’s a bait and switch type advertising "

"I had a very disappointing experience & would not recommend it. Upon arrival, we were informed the elevator was out of service, something that should have been communicated ahead of time.We were originally assigned a room on the 6 floor, and while the front desk clerk did move us to the 3 floor after we requested it, this was still extremely difficult for our group, especially since my 85 year old aunt was traveling with us. I had reserved an ocean view room through Expedia, but Diana claimed the hotel never received that information from Expedia and refused to offer any refund or accommodation. I then asked to speak to the manager & a person by the name Gail also said the same thing and did not offer a solution. This was frustrating & felt dismissive.The condition of the property was also concerning. The pool slide looked unsafe, as if it could fall apart at any moment. Housekeeping was another major issue, I confirmed with Gail what their housekeeping policy was and she said full service every third day however, we could request garbage and fresh towels, which I did not only once but had to request garbage pickup &towel replacement 4 times in a single day before it was addressed by Sunny who came from the front desk and brought me fresh towels and took the garbage.These issues are unacceptable.To make matters worse, the front office staff was rude & unhelpful throughout our stay, & no effort was made to resolve these issues or offer any form of compensation.Unacceptable."

"Great stay with one minor drawback Excellent location and a beautiful view from the bedroom! The only downside was the mattress, which sank in the middle and wasn't very comfortable. If they replace the bed, I’d highly recommend this hotel. They have umbrellas and chairs to go to the beach which it is very close walking distance."

"Location: Beachside Gardens was in a great location with easy access to the beautiful beach - literally outside the door and a 2 minute walk. That was the main thing I was looking for, so overall I was satisfied. Amenities: The pool area and pool itself was poorly maintained and needs some upgrades. The water was clean, but the pool floor was in bad shape and there were leaves and debris all over the deck of the pool. It was a bit of a mess. There are no other real amenities to speak of and in my opinion it would have been nice if the property had some pool floats and beach chairs to borrow (I bought two and left them there). The room: The actual room was pretty nice. Definitely older and has some minor blemishes, but it had a nice couch (pullout), dining area, comfortable queen bed, and a equipped kitchen with full size fridge. Tiny bathroom, but great water pressure and very clean. Ceiling fan was a nice treat and the AC was cold! Small parking lot, but plenty of spaces for the units. Staff: There was no staff on site (as shared in the listing), but they were very responsive and friendly via text throughout my stay. I have stayed at many of these budget motels in Deerfield and this was fine, but not the best I have seen. Location could not be beat, though! Beach side and next to all the great restaurants and shops in DB. For the price, I was satisfied, but will likely stay at my go to property- Ocean Villas- next time. "
