"Overall, we had a good stay. When we first checked in, our room key didn’t work and we had to go back to the front desk. Once inside the room, we also noticed noise from upstairs guests and a crack in the ceiling that made us a bit uncomfortable.
However, the staff handled the situation well. I asked to switch rooms, and they were able to move us to a second-floor room right away. The new room felt much better—less stuffy, no strange smells, and overall more comfortable.
Breakfast was a highlight. There were plenty of options including scrambled eggs, beef patties, bagels, English muffins, waffles, yogurt, cereal, juice, and coffee—definitely a solid start to the day.
One unique thing to note: between around 3–5 AM, you can hear sea lions nearby, and the hotel may sound a horn to scare them off. It’s interesting, but if you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs.
Overall, I appreciate how the staff resolved the issue quickly and made sure we were comfortable for the rest of our stay."
