Room was small for just me. Plugs in the bathroom didn't work. Toilet handle was broke so it took almost an hour for it to fill and be ready to flush. And the brunette elder lady was the worst. Had attitude and wouldn't even try to accommodate me or my needs

The room was heavily neglected and hardly clean on any surface of the room. Used bars of soap and the previous occupants socks were still in the bathroom. Hair and dirt lined every crevice your eyes could see and the musky smell in the room was terrible. Not to mention my vehicle was broken into not even 4 hours after I checked in and the manager told me there was nothing they can help me with and to try with a different manager in the morning 9 hours after the incident. I had to stay awake all night so I could ensure my family and property would be safe.

I had to go purchase my own cleaning supplies just to feel some type of comfort sleeping here I can’t stand filth and I had already purchased my stay so I didn’t want to go through the cancellation processing so I guess party it is my fault for still staying here but when you come to stay in a room that’s supposed to be non-smoking and it smells like the last people that were in here were lifetime smokers and just saturated the whole room with smoke smell so odor, disinfectant and a little bit of a some Fabulosa can’t handle..

The room was dirty and had bugs in it. They make you take your own trash out. When I wanted more towels and soap I ha to go to the office and get it. I'm handicapped which made it extremely difficult. They are closed on Sunday. The staff was no help at all

Room was fairly clean and roomy.Front desk was courteous and friendly.Drawback is no way to get assistance when office closed.We let someone hang out with us in our room for a couple hours because the electric lock on their door stopped working and didn't want her outside in 16 degree temp. waiting for office to open

Laundry was and issue with the dryers. The empty lot next to it is always a problem it brings the wrong people around. Besides that i like it there. I have another reservation there for this Thursday.

No horrible words can describe this place. It's a pit from hell . 23 cockroaches I found in my room car was towed by a fraudulent towing company. Cost me 325 extra dollars . How do I get a refund?

All the above , room was filled with cockroaches I think I killed 23 in 10 days they refuse to spray the room fix the asbestos snowfall in my bathroom. Plus they towed my vehicle and said there's a sign posted where I parked which there wasn't and the tow company that towed my vehicle is not properly registered in Colorado so is it legal tow . This place is a joke . If I were Expedia i would not have this hotel on my web site . Embarrassing for Expedia.

My stay at HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof Denver – Lakewood West was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The moment I stepped foot on the property, I knew something was seriously wrong. There were at least five police cars and around seven officers standing around the area during my check-in. A cop even approached me asking about possible disturbances. I had just arrived and was checking in, so I told them I had no idea—but that alone was enough to make me feel extremely unsafe. Inside the room was even worse. • Cockroaches everywhere — crawling on the floor, walls, and even onto my bed • Strong cigarette smell that reeked through the entire room • Bathroom was filthy • Sink was clogged • Fridge was dirty and clearly not cleaned The cockroaches were the final straw. One crawled onto my bed, and I couldn’t sleep at all. Since I was waiting to ask for a full refund and trying to give the place the benefit of the doubt with the other rooms they provided, I even went as far as buying Lysol disinfectant and Raid to kill the roaches—but honestly, it didn’t work at all. After two nights, I seriously had enough and left. Another major inconvenience: The front desk is only open from 11 AM to 7 PM, which is completely unrealistic for travelers. My flight arrival didn’t align at all. If you arrive outside those hours, you have to call a phone number and wait for someone to come check you in, which feels sketchy, inconvenient and unnecessary.

The only kind word to offer about our stay is that the staff are courteous and responded to every problem. It is mind-boggling to me that a hotel or motel bearing the Red Roof corporate name allowed the state of disrepair and filthiness that we experienced. If you stop here because of the low price, be sure to inspect the room before you commit to staying here.
