"Staff were obliging ,always helpful , it was clean and comfy beds and the breakfast was excellent ,the only downside when i wanted a bottle of water ,the only water available was in a Tin ,which was very expensive ."

"I know Matlock Bath well and have stayed locally a couple of times. I’d seen High Tor but never considered it. I know regret this as it was really rather good. The room was well-appointed with all mod cons including a fab shower in the en-suite. We dined out but probably should have eaten in as the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Access was easy and the parking more than adequate. "

"Spa is great, but bear in mind that it's not included into ones stay at the hotel. You'll need to call the spa reception and book it separately, and tell your bank details by phone. Also the range of rooms at the hotel don't match with the one at hotels.com. I paid for a suit and hotel's reception got it from the site as "executive". Next time I'll just book it directly with the Ringwood "

"Honestly felt like I had to write a review as it was a great stay. the Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and made the visit. They were extremely understanding when I made an error in my food choice and helped me pick something else, reassured me that the mistake was honest and were so polite about it. This is customer service at another level 10/10 "

"Very friendly ,helpful and passionate staff nothing was too much trouble.Food at the restaurant was fantastic the chef should be on master chef everything cooked fresh to order. All staff should be very proud of what they are doing at this hotel. The only negative from my stay was the noise from the main road if they could have some sort of sound barrier ie extra blind and maybe think about different flooring too as this was extremely noisy from people walking about above my room.Would definitely stay here again ,would be even better if they offered breakfast thoughtout your stay as the food is exceptional. "

"A very friendly and accommodating hotel. We loved staying at this place for 3 nights. The only downside was that on the last morning they did take away the breakfast menu selection without a reason. Then on our way out of the restaurant we noticed that some had been given a choice from the menu. Overall a great hotel though."
