"Spent 2 nights at Fife Lodge so we could explore the east coast. Staff were friendly on arrival, rooms were lovely not long been refurbished tastefully and of a high standard very clean with tea and coffee making facilities with complementary bottles of water and lovely biscuits which was a lovely touch. We ate both nights in the Lodge the food was excellent and plentiful first class service and plenty choice. We had breakfast included in our stay which was excellent cooked breakfast cooked to...

"This is an old manor home turned hotel. It was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the grounds were beautiful. The food was delicious. Our dining table was by a beautiful fire."

"On arrival at Waterside Hotel, found the car park was mostly filled with work vans, so wondered if it was the right choice for a couple, but on entering we found the staff friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean, the TV was set on the dressing table blocking the mirror. Breakfast in the morning was really good, with a great choice and tasty well cooked hot food and good speedy service, so good value overall."

"Got a free room upgrade. Room was nice and clean. Lovely bathroom fittings. Towels were folded on your bed to look like swans. Breakfast was lovely. As was the pot of tea. I'd have no hesitation going back. Was a fair price too"

"Beautiful place. We loved the fact that it's 799 years old, thinking about all the people that have come and gone before us enjoying the same space. Pretty grounds right on the river Dee. Old cemetery and remains of a chapel right behind for exploring. Natural beauty all around. Staff was welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a suite and everything met our expectations. Will definitely stay again. Also love that they have a vegan menu in their restaurant! 🌱💚"
