"Outdated. Old. Smells weird. Hidden fees. Just not great at all."

"The check in was easy, the room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom and bath products. My partner said 'that was probably the most amazing spa experience I’ve ever had (& I’m a spa junkie lol!) INCREDIBLE from the customer service to the treatments. The pool is lovely and a great resort like experience in the Berkeley/Oakland area. Wonderful on every level."

"Ice machine present: doesn’t work Roaches in the rooms Please don’t get a room by a door, the cigarette smokers smoke there. And for forbid you need fresh air or a cool room they will charge and accuse you of smoking. AC said 66 and on but the room stayed at 78 degrees General manager Jay is rude as all outdoors. takes no accountability and yells at women. Housekeeping gave us folded dirty towels in our bathroom. THEY HAVE ROACHES."

"Hallways are somewhat dark but otherwise the hotel is comfortable without unnecessary bells and whistles. Parking is $25 per day. The rooms have a Motion sensor light and power feature. This is really annoying because if you turn over in bed at night the lights come on. I tried every combination of turning the motion sensor off and it wouldn’t work as I liked. It would still shut off the lights after some time. Also very annoying was that when the power switches off your devices stop Charging....

"Good stay in a location in Fremont (here for a wedding) that was convenient to us and everywhere we needed to get to. Took us a hour to get to downtown SF for site-seeing, but we expected that… we chose this hotel because it was near wedding venue, not SF. Room was clean and spacious for two. Basic but nice amenities. I liked the outdoor garden areas and the “California feel” while speaking around the property. Didn’t use the pool. I asked for a late checkout because of a wedding that we were...

"Soo disappointed. I made this reservation specifically for the jacuzzi and it has been closed for weeks apparently. The staff was not nice and the building is outdated. I could have used that money to stay in a cheaper place for the same quality. 👎"
