"It was nice and clean which made me comfortable. The staff was very friendly and customer service was amazing."

"We tried for early check in but it was unavailable. Once checked in the unit was clean except the upstairs was musty smelling. The air conditioning systems was multiple split units which worked but we had to turn on an overall unit fan for them to work properly. The hot tub had a lose headrest. The restaurant closes early and for a very few tables had extremely slow service. Took 40 minutes to get our drinks. Overall I wouldn’t go back the stay for the price doesn’t align. "

"The people who work front desk are wonderful. Even when it is busy they stay calm and never show that they are mad. Very friendly. It's nice and quiet here. "

"The room was clean but the sagging mattress needs updating. Our room had a noisy air conditioner that ran all day and night. The noise made it difficult to sleep. The grounds were clean and beautifully kept. The pool area is clean and well-occupied. The Turtle Grille served excellent food and the staff there gave excellent service. We enjoyed our stay in spite of those few exceptions."

"Our stay was wonderful. We had a room with a balcony on the lake. Regardless of the time of day, the scenery was breathtaking on the water. The hotel was clean and staff was very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend staying here."

"We had an excellent stay at Amara. Every person we encountered on staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The location is perfect for walking all over Upper Sedona. The grounds are very clean and the view is incredible. We will definitely return! "

"Beautiful hotel but on the older side. We stayed in a cottage. The living room needs updated or furniture that hasn’t been used quite so hard. Bedroom and bathroom were very nice. Outdoor shower was amazing. Staff especially valet and cleaning staff were wonderful. Turn down service was nice. Concierge also very helpful! Views were spectacular. Be ready to climb flights of stairs unless you want to wait for a staff to bring you up in a golf cart. Great exercise! Lovely hotel...
