"The resort is located in a good location at the southern part of the mainland, with a public beach just two steps away. The beauty of the public beach being so close is that guests can choose between the resort beach or public beach, but the public cannot use the resort beach. The resort was well kept and the beach clean. Breakfast was a good selection. I would however recommend fresh fruit juice is available. My overwater bungalow was lagoon view, not much privacy, but that is how the bungalows...

"Everything about this place was good. Except for the room locker which was broken. Friendly staff, clean environment, AC room, pools are all clean. Should add more programs for adults and seniors. Nothing much to do besides swimming. I stayed for 2 weeks. I think one week is good enough for this place. "We booked out of necessity but found the facility excellent. Our bungalow was really nice. After moving on to the Moana intercontinental there are clear differences with Moana being a noticeably fancier facility with bigger more luxurious rooms. But the maitai was nice and much cheaper and includes a nice breakfast. (There restaurant on the beach was not very good however). "

"I am glad we booked St Regis for the stay. The resort is just amazing. We booked the lagoon side, over water bungalow. The water was so calm that you could swim in it anytime of the day. We saw sun rise every morning from the bedroom. The resort staff were very friendly and helpful with just about anything you could think of. And the food was amazing. "Nicest OWB we have stayed in the French Polynesia! Staff was excellent and quite beautiful location. Only thing we would have changed a little was some additional lunch and dinner options at the restaurant. Food was excellent, breakfast included, just was looking for salads and more simple things. "I ate everything off all the menus in my 2 weeks staying there from each of the restaurants in the hotel with the exception of the sky bar. Everything was stellar 5 star and the staff were top notch! "
