"The rooms were nice and clean. The restaurant food was great, especially the breakfast buffet and the fresh inlets, but the wait staff was not equally as good. They seemed bothered by any request. The pool was not usable. It was dirty with dead bugs floating on the surface. We didn’t see a single person in the pool during our entire visit. "Sehr schönes, neues Hotel mit Innen- und Außenpool, Sauna, Fitnessraum, Bar und Restaurant. Alle Mitarbeiter waren zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziges Manko, wofür das Hotel allerdings nichts kann, ist die Lage bzw. Umgebung. Wenn man immer mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs ist, wird man davon nichts mitbekommen. Wenn man aber gern zu Fuß unterwegs ist und ins Zentrum von Ponta Delgada möchte, muss man unweigerlich eine Straße entlang laufen, die als etwas unsicher...

"Breakfast offerings were excellent but the staff doesn’t clear dirty dishes for the most part. They wait til you leave to clear the dishes. Bed & sheets are comfortable. Garden is a nice walk. Pool & jacuzzis are best used outside of the public hours. Parking lot for overflow is gravel & shoes get dirty if it rained. Not sure why the hotel doesn’t spend the $ to pave it. Swimming pool room was a sauna! Couldn’t even go into the pool because you could barely breathe the air was soooo...

"The hotel is exceptional and the area where it is located is breathtaking. While you have to pay in order to use the geothermal pools anywhere else on the island, there are geothermal pools right here in the hotel for your use anytime of the day or night! The hotel leaves little treats and trinkets in your room for you throughout most of your stay, there are incredible tasting teas with cookies in the lobby area, and breakfast was divine! We highly recommend this hotel!"
