"Ok, so I gave it 5 stars, However there are a few things that can be improved upon. First, there is a "great need" for a serious remodel or updates! Wife and her first husband was here 26 years ago. When we got here, she told me that it still looks the same!!!!! Also there needs to be a snack or late night food line that closes at 2am instead of 10. "Upon arrival we were greeted and treated like queen and king! As I walked inside the Royal the smell was like fresh flowers. At the Royal you will never run out of things to do! From the water park to the sky blue beach water, friendly staff, delicious buffet meals breakfast lunch or dinner. The buffet is pricey if you are on a budget walk to the shake shack burgers and chicken sandwiches are 11-12$ . The royal has FREE water parks, aquariums, beaches, a pool on every corner you turn, lazy river...

"The room, surrounding, beach and pool where well-kept and maintained. However there isn't much to do outside the compound as it is away from local shops and downtown. Generally friendly staff, although I did had a distasteful phone interaction with one receptionist while reporting an incident in our room, but after insisting that it has to be dealt with, management stepped in and rectified it. Overall My wife and I had a good and relaxing stay."
