"Beautiful grounds on the hotel property. It is across from a beautiful beach. Nice pool. Extremely helpful, caring staff. Was great to have a restaurant at this hotel with good food. I would definately stay again if I'm ever in Nassau. 5 stars!!"

"Room was not the best. The shades were very dirty, the room smelled like mold, the AC window was very dirty. The bathroom had a very strong smell like a sewer and it made the room smell very bad as well. It was a construction project going on that started every day from 8am until 4pm. Saturday as well. 😳
We loved the outside, water slides and Lazy River, great. We love the resort concept but unfortunately the smell and the noise didn’t help at all to make it the best memories for my birthday."

"This was our first trip to the Bahamas, and overall we had a great stay at RIU!
Food: The buffet had decent options and everything was fresh and well prepared. The restaurant food was very good, so be sure to download the RIU app and make reservations. The lobster at two of the restaurants was delicious, and the poolside jerk chicken was a highlight.
Pool: The pool area was clean, but chairs fill up quickly, so grab a spot early.

"Honestly speaking, I was very dissappointed with the actual resort! It was completely falsely advertised, nothing like the pictures on the website!! I was suppose to have an island view, but instead all I saw from my room was a construction site and a roof!! It was very upsetting.. there is no beach at the resort, you needed to walk or take a shuttle bus to the beach with no umbrellas or chairs included, no drinks included, it really was very disappointing.. while we were at the pool, there...

"The staff were very helpful and welcoming and they did took our luggage to our room. Welcome drinks at the hotel lobby rooms were clean and the view from the room was very pleasant, outdoor pools were clean the ocean was very nice and clear water perfect for snorkeling and swimming"

"Awful, trash in room from people before us. Shower fixtures not working properly. One had a screw sticking out and grinding on the turn handle, the sound was awful. Breakfast was mediocre at best, everything tasted like cardboard and a few members had food poisoning from it. We only stayed one night and made arrangements elsewhere."
