"The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice and clean. There are a number of places to eat at close by. The full size refrigerator is nice."

"This property was dirty, and our room was so damp our clothes were almost wet the next morning. We ask for more towels due to a water issue in the bathroom, and they told us they were completely out. A half naked, barefoot man just wondered the hallways. Overall this place was disgusting and we will never come near it again."

"The floor was filthy! Bed was acceptable linens were clean, shower needed attention. The clerk didnt return my license, when I asked her about it she said she "handed it back with" my AARP card. Not a good experience over all."

"This place is a hidden gem! The room was incredibly clean and decorated in the cutest style! A coffee maker with pods and tea were provided as well as some small snacks and water in the fridge! I really liked that dishes and silverware were also provided in case we may have needed to reheat food. The AC was a little finicky it seemed but kept us cool and comfy the entire stay. Lots of good choices for food with in driving distance as well."

"We enjoyed the schoolhouse very much as the kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook easy dinners and lunches. The location was great as we visited nearby Harper’s Ferry and Shepardstown’s Bavarian Inn (dinner). The farmland in the area was breathtaking as we enjoyed driving around at night. The schoolhouse was a special experience considering both of us are teachers. Great job on the decor!"
