"Grotto Bay is a very nice hotel and it is close to the airport. The food was really good. The staff were all very nice. It has a nice area on the side for snorkeling with loads of small fish. The hotel could use a little updating, the bathrooms are small, the floor in the room is kind of dirty, but it’s a beach hotel, so it’s not that bad. They could use some variation of the menu at the outside bar. It’s the only option you have for lunch there, so so e specials of the day would be nice. ...

"The property is very far away from a lot of main attractions. The front desk staff was not helpful at all and there was no running water for two entire days and the only option was offered was to take a shower by the pool. I also put the do not disturb sign on my door, but housekeeping and the water boy continued to knock multiple times and open my door despite the sign. The water boy even opened my door attempting to get in saying I am dropping the water, thank God I had the lock and chain on...

"the room had A fantastic view of beach but it rained all week and spent alot to stay in room! one weird thing happened i had put 2 shot glasses and frome in newspaper! i think the maid thought it was trash cause of newspsper ?? i didnt notice till time to check out. i would like 2 shot glass from Bermuda u should be able to send me them. room 1250 anytype. ill have to foget the frame! "The suggestion I would have is to flip the adult pool and the main pool. Too many kids running around screaming. We had two rooms with a very nice sitting areas out side the sliding door however the constant screaming and yelling of kids made them virtually useless. The amenities at the current main pool are tailored more towards adults. Rooms 50 & 56. That would be my main critique. The restaurants served excellent food! Thanks for asking."

"It's rare to stay in a resort where the owner genuinely cares about the guests, visiting tables at dinner, the bar late in the afternoon, and even a manager's cocktail hour. When you check in there's a nice touch - "Welcome Mr. & Mrs. Smith - Toronto, Canada - Happy Anniversary" - or "welcome back". No wonder many of these names had double digit number of visits beside their names. We love the Reefs. Thank you!"

"Great ocean view rooms and 3 great beaches with 5 restaurants and good food. A little distance from Hamilton and St Georges about an hour. But very relaxing !"

"Property sits up in hills with lots of hills and steps. This property is not for handicapped people or if you have trouble climbing hills and lots of steps. Rooms are very outdated. Needs renovation. Breakfast was great. Dinner was good. Staff was excellent in helping you for whatever you need. You need to take a taxi or public bus to get to wherever you need to go. Property is at the west end of the island about 45 minutes from airport. Closer to Royal Dockyard."

"We reserved a one-bedroom suite that turned out to be apartment sized. Fully-equipped kitchen, living room with outdoor seating area, bedroom with another outdoor seating area, and 1-1/2 baths. We totally enjoyed the view overlooking the harbor. Complimentary water taxi to Hamilton was a plus."
