"The cabana king room was lovely, but generally, I did not think the service lived up to the Rosewood brand. The staff were all very friendly, but perhaps they were spread too thin? Examples: the staff in London never ask for our name (and room) as they learn them immediately. Not true here. More importantly, the service throughout was slow. I had to call twice for more bottles of water (they were too small) and waited 45 minutes to get them replenished in our room despite the room having earlier...

"We had a wonderful time at the Pompano! The first thing that stands out are the owners and the staff. The two brothers running it are incredibly engaged and helpful. Their family has owned the resort for 70 years, and it's obvious how much they care about the guests and the property. Every staff member we met was also incredibly pleasant and helpful. "I had a great stay at Dawkins Manor Hotel while I was in Bermuda. The property was very clean and comfortable, and Celia was absolutely lovely to deal with. The rooms are a bit dated, but had all the amenities I needed throughout my stay. The area where the hotel is located was safe and quiet, and it reasonably easy to get to many areas around the island, especially if you also rent a scooter."
