"The Grotto Bay Resort was fine. I was expecting more for the price. We had an ocean front room. The view was great, the room was average. Had issues with both the in-room coffee service and the coffee available at the continental breakfast. The spa (in a cave!) was excellent. There is also a cave to swim in. If you didn’t want to spend big bucks for breakfast in the restaurant, the offerings at the continental breakfast were meager. All in all, I would rate the property as okay, not great."

"Property sits up in hills with lots of hills and steps. This property is not for handicapped people or if you have trouble climbing hills and lots of steps. Rooms are very outdated. Needs renovation. Breakfast was great. Dinner was good. Staff was excellent in helping you for whatever you need. You need to take a taxi or public bus to get to wherever you need to go. Property is at the west end of the island about 45 minutes from airport. Closer to Royal Dockyard."
