"The front desk staff was amazing! We checked in during a rain storm and the hotel had been hit by lightning and their computers and they computers were out. The staff maintained their professionalism and got us in a room quickly. Thank you for your help "

Good thing is there are options. Nearby restaurants or a kitchen and refrigerator in the rooms. Overall, good stay with friendly staff."

"Very beautiful hotel, right next to the mall with a food court. The staff were absolutely fantastic, and went above and beyond in answering questions and offering suggestions given the uncertainty surrounding the area. We stayed on two separate nights and the staff helped us with boxed breakfast at no additional charge. Very thankful to the staff for making our stay comfortable."

"The hotel was fantastic. The room was excellent and the views from the restaurant over the entire city were amazing. I cannot praise the staff enough, they couldn’t be more helpful. There is a lot of political unrest in La Paz at the moment with many governments advising against travel, we decided to go anyway, staying for just 2 nights and do not regret the decision. The hotel was excellent, they arranged a pick up from the airport and a taxi for the return and were in contact throughout via...

"Lovely hotel. Nice staff. Bed comfy. They allowed us check in early. Food was good. Could do with a bigger more noticeable sign post on the hotel for easy find."

"It's the third time we've stayed, the last was 6 years ago. Not as good as before, feels a bit tired. Booking direct on the website didn't work, and they never responded to email. Ok booking via Expedia, but subsequent contact was clunky, to say the least. It's a shame, should be (and has been) better."

"The hotel has an old world charm that belies its long history as one of the city’s finest. Located just a block off La Paz’s main drag, el Prado, it is close to restaurants, bars, shopping and myriad forms of transportation. The best thing about the hotel, though, is the the sterling staff who treat each guest as though they were a foreign dignitary. There are newer, glitzier hotels in the city, but nine they have such a wonderful staff. I highly recommend it."

"Leider ist die Belüftung der engen Kabinen (Größe Schlafwagenabteil in Europa) problematisch. Während unseres Aufenthaltes roch es penetrant nach verstopftem Abfluss (wo auch immer die Luft innerhalb des Terminals angesogen wird); von wirklicher Frischluftzufuhr kann aber auch so keine Rede sein; es ist sehr stickig, der kleine Ventilator in der Decke dafür recht laut. Eben gesamthaft eher eine Notlösung, bevor man in der Abflughalle campiert."
