"For a quick stay in Ames it's perfect. I was concerned initially because of the ratings, but gave it a chance anyway. The staff I came in contact with were welcoming and helpful! The front desk gentleman was very attentive and friendly! There was a lady that worked the breakfast stations (I didn't catch her name) she was absolutely wonderful, personable and sweet. The rooms were very simple (not fancy), but clean (and I look at everything!!!) As a single female traveler I felt very safe there....

"I like the pool which is open till 10pm. Guests can still swim for late check in. There is no lotion only shampoo and conditioner. Bar soap is so hard to wash off so slippery just towel off. It might have so much moisturizer. There is a fly in the room. I like the beds and shower. The fridge is big, you can put enough food and drinks. Breakfast: there is cereal but no milk. Milk came when we are all done eating. Staff are nice ."
