"Beautiful grounds , lovely setting , little bit out of Douglas but everything was easily accessible , you do need a car! Staff are super and the hotel is sparkling clean . Food in the Bar/Lounge was first class ( not cheap ) service was very good . Brilliant Breakfast Buffet …nice views from the table . Would highly recommend this hotel ."

"Generally a good hotel and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good. Our family room looked very tired. In particular, the carpet, net curtains and bathroom sink need to be replaced and modernised."

"Well on arrival did not no was put in a different place next door was not told that on the Web site was ok clean but needed updating everything you needed in the b×b very bizzy around the house hotel breakfast was OK same every day but nice drinks ok open late sum night but not every night staff good 😉 very pleasant &helpful wood stop here again but take in mind parking 😊"

"We had a side sea view room, clean and well maintained. Great room. Breakfasts good with top class ingredients. We ate once for the evening meal. The food was pricey and quality was poor. Overall a really good hotel with great staff and exceptionally clean."

"I honestly cannot rate this hotel high enough, the rooms were absolutely spotless, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff. Well every single member of staff were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful. The aircon was heaven sent in the heatwave, I had amazing sleep every night yet my brother in law in a budget hotel was tormented with heat. I will without a doubt stay there again and wont even contemplate looking at other hotels."

"I just very recently came back (July 2026) from almost a week on the Isle of Man and stayed at the Devonian the whole time. I can highly recommend it for the breakfasts, the lovely and responsive staff, the central location, and the spotless rooms. For being a three-star hotel, I felt the value was among the best I've ever experienced traveling. To expand, the staff at the Devonian are obviously invested in giving their guests an enjoyable stay. the breakfasts are delicious and the clear equal...

"I received a warm welcome at reception and was able to store my bag until it was time to check-in, later in the day. My room had a sea view and was clean, tidy and contained everything I required during my visit. I'd happily stay here again on any future visits to the Isle of Man."
