"Upon first entering the reception is nice. It looks to have had a recent refurb. The receptionist was welcoming. We were given a room on the third floor, there is a lift. The layout of the hotel was like a rabbit warren a confusing at times, but we found our way around. Upon entering the room it had a lounge, bathroom and bedroom, which would have been lovely. "Excellent service nice hotel"

"Well located hotel in Bradford not far from cheap parking in the Leisure Exchange and with friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast on my first morning was very good but on the second morning was plate service which wasn't convenient given the need to get away promptly and considering the numbers before 7am."

"I had a terrible experience. I slept for few hours and when I woke up I was surrounded by an army of bed bugs. My body and face is still swollen from Friday night. This is terrible!"

"Very strange room quite large with a very small double bed not as wide or long as a standard double Room was in the basement and you would not want to spend anytime in there other than to sleep. Staff helpful and we could check in early and location was good as you could walk to everywhere in Halifax. Ok if you just need a bed for the night as we did but not if you wanted to spend a weekend away and the hotel was part of the experience"

"The breakfast was excellent for a mid range hotel. Very wide choice of cereals and seeds/nuts. Nicely cooked hot selection and good bread for toasting. Also granola with berries and yoghurt. There are good views from the rooms but the air con is variable. Too hot in the reception area and the general decor could be improved. Parking is good though."
