"The rooms were well designed and clean but we found the pillows really uncomfortable. Around the outside sun-bed area, the hotel staff decided to steam clean the beds for an hour which was noisy and annoying, I came on holiday to get away from the sound of a vacuum! The food selection was good but we found it luke warm, a microwave would be good so you could heat up the buffet food, lastly the orange juice was fake, I would of expected real orange juice in Spain also a coffee machine to offer...

"I had such a fantastic time here for my 26th birthday I came on a solo trip. I stayed in one of the villas right by the sea and it was the most relaxing and beautiful place I’ve been to. Staff were very helpful and the self accommodation meant I could cook my own food "

"A pleasant place, with friendly staff and good-quality food, that is let down by the truly desperate physical condition of some of the rooms. The grouting in the bathroom of the room we were initially given was black and ugly, and there were cracks where the sealant was coming away from the bath. We rejected it as unacceptable and were shown two further rooms that were far from pristine but not nearly as bad. How this place can be rated as five stars beats me. There are signs of underinvestment...

"Had a perfect week's stay. All the staff were so friendly, helpful, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was fantastic - we loved the pancakes, fresh fruit, and eggs. The pools are beautiful and as the main lazy river winds around the beautifully planted grounds there's always somewhere fairly private and quiet to lay out. "Super Lage mit Blick auf den schönsten Strand im Süden. Shuttlebus zum Strand ist einmal die Stunde kostenfrei am Start. Man sollte wissen das es am Strand weder Liegen noch schattenspendende Schirme auf Hotelkosten gibt. Aber alles ist fair bezahlbar. Auch Taxifahrten vergleichsweise günstig. Die Zimmer sind etwas abgewohnt und könnten eine Renovierung gebrauchen. Sonst insgesamt die erwartet gute Riu Qualität. Personal hervorragend und sehr kinderfreundlich. "

"Despite some of the negative reviews, it was a great stay. Staff were great, attentive and helpful. Food was fantastic as well as the evening entertainment. The only downside for me was all of the young people in groups at the beginning of my stay, doing balloons and made the hotel smell very green which I found very inappropriate as there were families there with young children so harder policing around that would’ve been better. "
