"I cannot say enough good things about Tifakara. Our stay was magical. From the wildlife off our back balcony (the rare treat of seeing a whole troop of monkeys!), the frog tour was thrilling, the daily included breakfast delicious and a perfect way to start a day of adventures in La Fortuna, to the luxurious accommodations (I’m forever spoiled by the remote controlled bidet toilet). "The property is very close to the volcano El Arenal, has beautiful views and the staff is great. It is somewhat rustic, but very clean. There is food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The thermal baths are rustic, but very natural and there are three different temperatures. You are close to town, but not walkable. "El Silencio, was outstanding. The staff was great, (counter check in staff could use some work) but the restaurant, bar, outside staff were all excellent. The hot springs exceptional.
