"They sent me to 3 rooms before I found one that had been cleaned, The ceiling in the hallway was coming down in spots. There was mold / mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom. The breakfast was not very much. Overall for the cost for the night I have definitely stayed in nicer hotels. I have stayed in worse hotels for sure. The room (once we found one that was cleaned) was fine other than the bathroom ceiling."

"The hotel is outdated, but clean. Breakfast was only take and go. Plenty of good coffee though. It's located in a great area - plenty of shopping and restaurants. The major drawback was the parking lot. It appeared to be a drug dealing location. I didn't feel safe taking my dog out for a bathroom break. I did see the manager come out and talk to the individuals there. The doors had to be pulled shut - they did not completely close on their own."

"Stairway floors were dirty, large clumps of dried mud on the carpet. Bathroom walls poorly painted with areas around fixtures unpainted. Trim around bathroom door had dirty hand prints on them. Refrigerator had heavy layer of frost. Light switch was wired backward."

"Wonderful country get-away! Rooms were clean and quaint. The farm was so fun to explore with lots of recycled metal sculptures throughout. Cute and friendly farm cats were a wonderful surprise! The hot breakfast (egg bake, warm Bundt coffee cake and fresh cut Georgia peaches) was the best breakfast I’ve had in a LONG time. Hosts sat with us during breakfast and shared amazing stories of the farm and their family. It was such a warm and personal end to the trip. I highly recommend The Cupola...

"For the first time in all my years using Expedia, we learned that we were double booked the evening before we were to leave for Mason City, IA. Of the three nights we booked we were told that we could stay the first and second night but not the third. We were offered either a two day stay or a refund. We chose the refund. Six days later, it took a call to Expedia to have the refund processed. I was able to reference the IM exchanges with the B&B on the Expedia platform to document the events....

"We had booked multiple rooms only to find out there were no rooms for us. The hotel did not notify us in advance that the Travelocity booking was unable to be satisfied. Needless to say this is a huge problem if rooms cannot be confirmed and held when an active Travelocity itinerary appeared as though rooms were confirmed "
