"For a very basic stay this was great. It met our needs for the price and neither my friend nor I had any complaints. I guess if I was to complain it’s that we needed another plug on the nightstand for a CPAP, but we made it work. This is an older motel, probably built in the Route 66 heyday. That being said, it’s a solid structure that’s been recently renovated and felt very clean. The carpet looks in the photos like it may have pre-dated our man Roosevelt but in person it appeared brand new. "

"I rarely give a hotel 5 stars but this little Route 6 motel is a diamond in the rough. Granted, there’s no turndown service or rose on the pillow. There’s no ice machine, but ice is available from the front desk. But I discount all those little issues given the fact that the rooms are clean, well maintained, and well provisioned.
