"10/10 -Best location on the island!! Absolutely loved our Deluxe Beachront accomodation! Couldn't get any closer to the sea & the views over the lagoon & to the motus were amazing!! Clean rooms & comfy beds & staff so warm & welcoming!! Property is really well maintained with a lovely pool area where everyone loves to gather at 3pm for canapes & cocktails!! Can't recommend highly enough!!"

"My husband and I could not fault The Islander. From the moment we checked in we felt like part of a large family. From the friendly smile and impeccable service from Serena at reception, to the amazing party vibe from Memory in the Hula Bar. To our wonderful friendly wait staff, bar staff, room turn over ladies. WOW JUST WOW. Meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner were so tasty, fresh and very generous portions. Thanx chefs.
Beds super comfy, shower was exceptional pressure. Meitaki Ma'ata...

"The pros: staff were kind and friendly, and the rooms are nice and spacious.
The cons: the room we were in got barely any sun, so the pool was always too cold to use. The insect screens were broken so we were constantly battling mosquitos in our room. The listing states two restaurants when there is only one, it says they have bikes which they don’t, they don’t actually have a shuttle, they just arrange one for you but a few days notice minimum is apparently required.
