Quality Inn Newark - Wilmington

2/10 Terrible

"This facility is absolutely disgusting. The rooms are filthy and have insects and ants everywhere the room. The king bed was a collection of old clumps and old pillows. The bathroom was not clean and had poop on the wall! The shower handle came off in my hands. The TV was broken and only had 1 channel. The free breakfast was old white bread for toast and bananas. The quick griddle for waffles was broken and they only had water or coffee to drink. There was hookers knocking on doors and drug deals in the parking lot. Stay away!"

"Staffer's were courteous, respectful, and extremely friendly. Breakfast was second to none and hospitality was superb. House keeping was excellent with daily cleaning and garbage disposal. Although, my wife and I don't drink alcohol, the bar tenders were very friendly. The front lobby/waiting area and the reading room with the fireplace was absolutely stunning. The Coffered Ceiling gave the lobby an elegant and charming appearance. The room we stayed in had all the amenities possible with high quality furniture and with a taste of impressionist art. The Bellmoor Hotel has high standards and excellence through Quality. I recommend this Hotel to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life."

Beach View Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Beach View is an older property, however the rooms and bathrooms have been updated with upscale fixtures and plush linens. The big plus is that the hotel is 1/2 block to the beach and only a short walk to Rehoboth Avenue (the main street that bisects the town and ends at the beach) and the boardwalk. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance, even a couple next door to the hotel. The hotel lobby has a couple of nice seating areas, as well as tables for breakfast. A nice touch was they have something new each morning (egg frittata, egg burritos, etc.). A welcome addition would be some fruit. The rates are a little pricey but the location warrants it. The front desk attendant, Robert, was always polite, helpful, and responsive. We would stay there again."

Brighton Suites Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The entire hotel was exceptionally clean, including the shining below level garage floor. Our suite was completely renovated. It was bright and clean. The roof top sunning area has brand new lounge furniture and an excellent view. There are 4 family restaurants within a block. The hotel is located one block off of the main shopping area, an easy walk to the beach or shopping. We understand the atrium area can be challenging during extreme temperatures."
