"We could not have been happier with the Oktogon hotel. Perfect location. Close to the metro underground and the fabulous tram and bus system. We purchased the 3 day metro pass as soon as we arrived. We went every where using the public transportation system. It’s an absolutely lovely hotel."

"We secured two apartments (Superior Family Apartment with Balcony) from Elisabeth Downtown Apartments by First Host. The first apartment was fully renovated, bright, clean and depicted as in the photos. Unfortunately, our 2nd apartment was Nothing like the photos. Although it was comfortable, clean and had some renovations done to the kitchen & bedroom (great closet organizer) - it was literally 1/2 size of our first apartment and the bathroom was dated. This was communicated to the management...

"I had a pleasant stay at Bohem Art Hotel. The location is excellent, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The only issue I experienced was a bad smell coming from the bathroom in the mornings. It happened twice. I reported it to reception on the first day, and they dealt with it promptly. When I returned in the evening, the smell was almost completely gone. Unfortunately, it came back the next morning, and I had to take a rather unpleasant shower...

"More of a hostel than a hotel. Paid £2500 because of champions league for a tiny room next to the bar so when you open your window curtain there were people playing pool and having a drink with music right outside. No room service, threadbare towels, no wardrobe, sheets too small for bed, towel rail not working, double lock on door broken, breakfast not included. I have just been ripped off. Expedia were just as bad with their terrible customer service. Do not recommend hotel or Expedia"

"Perfect place to look at the parliament building, although unfortunately we didn't have a room at the front of the hotel. Very close to amenities on the Buda side but only a five minute walk across the bridge to Pest. The room was basic but clean, drinks were nice. Very quiet at night which was great."
