"House was beautiful and the upstairs room was very spacious and comfortable. Host was friendly and helpful. We were only there for an overnight get away. We loved our stay and had a quiet, relaxing time. Thanks for everything!"

"Lake view, fire area, very clean!"

"Stayed here 2 nights for a fall getaway. Great location in Eagle River. On the UTV trail. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. The included breakfast buffet had eggs and sausage both days. Waffle maker, fruit juices, yogurt, milk and muffins were available. We had a handicap-accessible room which was ample sized. Somewhat strange that there was no shelf for soap or shampoo in the shower. Had to put them on the floor. This location is pet friendly, so we did hear some...

"Clean, comfy, and classic. The property was quiet and quaint. The staff was available and accommodating. I would recommend it for your adventure in Eagle River."

"Fantastic resort for winter beauty. It was very quiet and felt remote. There were no issues, but would have liked to talk to the office more about the resort, but due to the time of year and occupancy, the office hours were limited."

"We had a group of 6 adults that were in town for the Septimber Ride in Eagle River. The house was spacious, clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable as well as the living and dining room furniture. It is unique as the house is on a working cranberry farm. They have live music and public events but in no way does it infringe on the accommodations. They have free tours if interested in learning about cranberry bogs. We all did the tour and was fun and very enlightening!! Also a gift shop on...

"We reserved the property and a few hours later it was cancelled on us. There was no way to contact the owner and the website information was horrible. The property may have been nice but we didn’t get a chance to find out. We had insurance on the property (that was canceled on us) and it took a 1 hour call to get a credit back. The property rental availability is not in sync with Expedia and made for a total waste of time. Beware!"

"The house and boat were clean and ready to go! The property manager was helpful and kind. It helped make our vacation wonderful"

"It was a beautiful place and everything and more than we expected. It is on our list of places we plan to return to."

"The Hillbilly Lodge exceeded our expectations. The home and property were beautiful. Larry was very helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We will be back to the Hillbilly Lodge!"
