"Our room was clean and spacious. Finding it was a challenge for the local cab driver. The breakfast was just breads but I enjoyed the mugwort rolls! I’d recommend that they add a washer/dryer to some rooms. Also, the sleeping clothes were a little worn. Mine was missing an important button. The staff were friendly but it could be hard to communicate with them over the phone."

"Our recent stay at NIPPONIA Miyama was unforgettable — not just because of the beautifully restored houses, but because every detail showed how thoughtful and considerate the team is. The atmosphere is calm, zen, and deeply connected to the surrounding nature.
What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to tailor activities just for us. They arranged a private hike to a nearby waterfall, followed by a farm‑to‑table experience where we learned to identify local...

"My husband and I stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights and had such a pleasant experience. The entire apartment was clean and comfortable, and we loved having access to a kitchen, tub and washing machine after staying in smaller hotels over the course of our trip in Japan. The neighbourhood was very calm and peaceful, yet still walking distance to convenience stores and some amazing restaurants. We didn’t have enough time to use the bikes but were very happy to have had them as an option for...

"In all caps? DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. You cannot contact the host and, at least for us, they never provided an access code. We ended up on the street with our luggage for hours while the excellent support staff at Expedia helped us sort it out and booked us another place to stay.
The people who lived locally said this was not the first time it had happened either and other families had gone through the same thing. (One very nice local family invited us into their home to get us off the street;...

"とても雰囲気があってオシャレで良かったです。おうちの前が石畳の道なのも風情があります。
トイレが２つありましたし、二階建てでベッドルームと居間がそれぞれ別なので寛げました。トイレと脱衣場も畳でした。 3、4人や家族での旅行に大変おすすめです。簡易的な流しやレンジ、お皿、ドリップコーヒーもありがたいです。同じ系列の町家が市内にまだ沢山あるみたいなので次回はそちらに泊まってみたいです。
