"Not worth the money spent"

"Easy to park, the staff was super helpful, and it’s not expensive at all. Has laundry."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Maxwell Anderson. Its location downtown is great for walking to restaurants and shops. There is very limited drop off parking in front of the hotel, but there is a public parking lot immediately behind the hotel with pay by phone and easy access to the rear entrance to the hotel. It’s expensive. We paid $26.00+ to park there from our 3:30pm arrival through 10:30am the following day. The hotel may have less costly parking but I didn’t know that and the...

"The whole property was dated, needed some TLC. The room was cleanish carpet was damp and bathroom shower needed to be recaulked. Pillows were in short supply and not very comfortable. Parking was available for an extra fee and was scarce at night. Within walking distance to the Hot Springs and downtown but this property is in a busy area right off the highway."

"This is a beautiful location; an older resort/hotel, however, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was excellent. The rooms and outside areas clean."

"Not very clean. Our bedding had stains. Stains on the walls."

"!"

"Main floor room our room need carpet replacement its little faded . The breakfast area need some work. All we get its eggs and sausage for main breakfast. Must be nice if they have hash browns, potatoes or bacon with it. Price it decent they have clean bathroom, soft bed and room is clean."

"The staff are very polite and helpful. We never encountered a rude staff member. However my grandson found a really old slice of pizza under the bed. The bathroom could be cleaned better as well. The pool was out of order so my grandson was very disappointed about that as well. The continental breakfast was decent if you go early everything is stocked but if you go toward the end the butter and things are not well stocked. However if you ask the cook for them he will go get you some."

"Clean rooms and friendly stafff."

"I had been advised this property (and another across the road, same management) had recently undergone an upgrade. The room certainly reflected that with a great bed, clean, useable tables, sofa, and air conditioning, all making the room comfortable. The bathroom was standard with clean and plentiful linens. The door to the bathroom was peeling and created a possibility of injury to a foot or ankle. Perhaps a walk through to check details, eg missing trim on the elevator, the treadle not...
