"The Lodge is not for everyone as it has the quirkiness of anything that is old. Floors are uneven, doors don't always fit, lighting is terrible for reading, ( bring your own reading light ) there is no AC or an elevator, yet we love this place and return once a year. Surprisingly, since there are only two places to eat in the village, a pizza place and the Lodge, one would guess that the Lodge could get away with mediocre food, but that is not the case. "Love the fact that the room and the place in general was clean and not dated. The only negative is that you could hear lots of noice from other rooms and bed was not firm. Breakfast was included but we did not eat there so not sure how it was. Over all we had a great stay, 100% recommended."

"Excellent large, inviting therapeutically hot Hot Tub. Breakfast a cut above most hotel/motel breakfasts with many healthy protein items rather the usual sugary white bread stuff that many other motels offer for breakfast. All the amenities in the room were first class."
