"Breakfast was amazing, really nice selection and all fresh Staff in the breakfast restaurant pleasant Reception night staff ignorant but not as rude and ignorant as the gastro bar staff. Residents told to get off the balcany as the doors were being locked yet they had served us with drinks only 2 minutes earlier. Wedding guests along clearly with a bride and groom but obviously not something the staff wanted them to celebrate. If we had have been rowdy teenagers maybe acceptable. Everyone was between 59 and 67!"

"Great location for scenic views but a long walk to get a drink at a pub or late night eats. However I love walking so clocked about 15 kilometers and 50 flights of stairs on my last day. The hike up the rock is intense but recommended. You can also get a van if you are old, disabled, or just lazy."

"This was the hotel that we really wanted to stay at in the area, and we're glad that we did. Nice view over the water, fantastic staff and the room was kept clean during our stay. However, there were a few small issues with the room that proper maintenance could have kept on top of - the recently repainted door meant that you had to give quite a shove to get into the room, but htat eased over a couple of days! A working safe would have been nice, and the shower provided more water than the drain could cope with (maintenance did come to fix that, and it was previously completely clean, so there was no real sign that there would have been an issue. The response to the issues in the room was faultless, and the small problems were dealt with quickly. They didn't detract from the stay, but were a shame. When back in the area, we would certainly stay here again, to be clear!"

"Because my confirmation said check in starts at 3PM I thought there was a front desk at the hotel. The doors were locked and there was no front desk! It turns out these are individual units owned by individuals and they are not there to greet you. I was shocked that I wasn’t aware of that."
