"Although we were aware that the hotel was closing we still expected 4 star accommodation as that is what we paid for. The pool and terrace area were in a very bad state of disrepair and the pool area unusable. We asked for an upgrade to a sea view as there road works at the front of the building and therefore noisy but were told ( 6 hrs after asking and having to ask again)that no rooms were available although the hotel was clearly far from busy. Comfortable beds. james Power (agent) was of immense help who kept us well informed prior to our arrival and met us immediately once we arrived in Gib. He gave us all the info we needed and was available throughout our stay if needed."
