"Our room was cleaned daily by a committed housekeeping staff. Lorene & Ingrid were exceptional, warm and friendly. They were limited by the lack of resources. Gem is conveniently located on a beach, however the rooms are showing their age and it is clear that management has not invested in updating the room in a very long time. Basic things like a running toilet tank, having to hold the lever to get the toilet to flush, a refrigerator that leaks, all reflect the lack of intention to the small...

"Very comfortable beds and pillow! Only missed the restaurant being closed, but there are great options very close by. Beautiful spot on the beach and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I will certainly stay here again."

"The resort was beautiful, the room was extremely clean and the complimentary breakfast was really tasty. Markiyah, Rondell, Kassandra and Laura were awesome! They checked on us constantly as we passed by the front office and always booked our shuttles/cabs and made reservations for us for dinner at neighboring resorts/restaurants. "The hotel had a great location literally on the Grand Anse Beach, across the road from a mall, supermarket and KFC. However I booked double beds and got one king size. The food was average and the room dated. There was also no charging port for 2 pronged chargers. I had a good massage. It was my 40th birthday and while I got a cake it was a goof thing I walked with my own candles. "

"Tired worn down older hotel on an exquisitely beautiful ( mostly) quiet beach. 20 minute walk to restaurants in Grand Anse. Few dining options near hotel. Loud ( music decibel) party boats crowded with cruise ship people visited the beach ruining the quiet vibe - which was the best part of it. Would not return. Would stay on Grand Anse instead. "
