"Stayed here in June and it was amazing. The staff were so nice and personable! Not too bougie at all. The amenities were amazing and I’m certain we didn’t take full advantage of them all. We’ll definitely be back."

"The Fairmont is likely as good of a “Resort” property as one could find. I am not a fan of Resorts, But when in Hawaii it is difficult to not stay in one. Fairmont is well presented, certainly not a value proposition, but nicely done. Good food, Bars, Pool, etc. shower in the bathtub was far better than the separate shower. Facility does need some paint and refreshing. Grounds and Location are beautiful. I like Fairmont Hotels and they are a brand I seek out, when traveling."

"Our 1st evening, we had some problems with getting food. The poolside restaurant had to close early and the bar restaurant ran out of pizza. I’m sure it was an unusual problem, but we didn’t have dinner that night coming in from a long travel day from Texas. All other meals were great, especially breakfast buffet which was outstanding."

"We rented a unit on the second floor of building E. It had a large, well-furnished balcony with a fabulous view of the sunset each evening. The location was great and included a designated covered parking space. Access to the exclusive Mauna Lani Beach Club was a huge perk. The shops at Mauna Lani were a 2-min drive away and there was a shop in that location to rent snorkel gear. This area of the island was perfect for a relaxing stay for our family of four. "The condo was spacious for a family of 5. The kitchen contained everything you need to prepare any type of meal including the added benefit of some spices, seasonings, and plenty of pots and pans. The master bed was extremely soft such that it was almost impossible not to get sucked into it. Master bathroom was huge with 2 sinks, a large, jetted tub, and a very large shower. "Expedia never supplied access to the property, even after multiple calls. Property manager was no where to be found. Expedia call center didn't help or find me and my guest another place to stay, even though they said the would. I found another place to stay on my own for double what I paid Expedia. Sadly, Expedia never offered to pay for it nor have they refunded my money for the original reservation they didn't fulfill. "
