"Great food and beautiful grounds."

"The bed was fine and comfortable but the room overall was not good. There was only one small table and suit case stand but no place much to sit things down. The floor was filthy. I walked across it barefoot and got in the shower and dirt flowed of the bottom of my feet. I could walk across the floor and wipe my feet on the bath mat and it would leave black marks on the mat. The floor needed to be mopped good. The towels and wash clothes were very thin and had yellow stains on them. The...

"I’m typically not a person who leaves a bad review…. But this was BAD. Our room smelled like a toilet. No water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was awful. The tables to eat breakfast were dirty. No one there wiping them off between people eating. The pool had so much chlorine it made my son sick because he couldn’t breathe. Horrible. Will pay more money elsewhere and drive further. Don’t recommend. "

"There's a Walmart near by its walking distance but it's through traffic. Room was clean when I arrived. It is pet friendly. They don't really have that much staff but they do get the job done "

"This inn is truly a gem. It was my best stay anywhere, ever. That sounds like hyperbole, but it's not. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was excellent! And not to mention, historic charm. We will be back, and we have already booked two additional stays. "

"The room was so hot didn't have no ac at all. Laundry was broken down didn't work. The staff really never cared about anything. They are so slow sometimes they never bring me my towels. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone else "

"They offer you candy when checking in. I must have looked at a different place to stay and accepted this one by mistake. Expedia had us wanting a smoking room? The room was clean but had a strange smell. It has only a space heater for heat. It is supposed to drop in the teens tonight. There is a unit in it that is supposed to be a heat/air conditioner that does not heat. Was charged $150.00 deposit incase we smoked in the room or for incidentals. Which we had no idea about! "We loved the space and location! However, there were some issues on cleaning and eventually a plumbing issue that caused us to have to leave the location early and go to a hotel. I gave the score based on the idea of what this would have been like without the issues which would have been a full star review but the issues brought it down. "
