"This hotel was very unique in the best way. Very safe and secure. The shared bathrooms were very clean and each stall for shower/toilet had a locked door. The rainfall showerhead and Dyson hairdryer was the best perk. I would definitely stay here again."

"My wife and I had a great time in Iceland, staying at the Hotel Reykjavik Grand. The hotel is a little bit out from the central downtown area, but that was perfect for us, since we had a rental car and the hotel offered free parking on their surface lot. There is a parking garage downstairs, but we weren't sure if it was free for hotel guests, but we had no issues finding spots on the ground level, even when we came back late at night. "The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that it is in a prime location. Other than that, it is nothing short of a hostel. There is no front desk, nor anyone to complain to if you have a problem. Breakfast was promised, but there was no breakfast, at all. My room was tiny with only one outlet and one small surface to unpack on. There was no daily room service. There was no tv in the room and no hairdryer in the shower room. "This was my first hostel! Defiently felt safe as a female solo traveller in the all women's room, it was clean, the staff were helpful, and it is just out of the downtown so its not SUPER busy but its defiently walkable (10 mins or less!) I 100% recommend this place."
