"I have travelled extensively, but can honestly say that this is the best hotel i have ever stayed in. The staff were without exception the most charming and helpful team who really made the stay. Food was excellent in the restaurant, both at breakfast and the a la carte dinners. The team accommodated an early check in for us which was invaluable having recently been having medical treatment so quite tired. We stayed in garden suites which were very good and convenient for pool and seafront...

"The Somerville is a lovely place to stay, with friendly, approachable, informative and attentive staff. Our superior double room was most comfortable and the shower had access to water that we actually understood! Gorgeous views. Fabulous areas both inside and out for relaxing. Sparkling pool. Steep walk up from the village, where there are good restaurants- tad tiring for we oldies! Would recommend. "

"Hotel was really clean but old style furnishing. Went swimming, the hotel dod not offer dressing gowns and slippers which was a bit difficult as there was no where to place our clothes. But overall the staff were very friendly and the service was very good."
